Trials of Miles Racing has partnered with Run for the Culture Inc. and Tallahassee Zoom Track Club to launch the inaugural Southeast Meet of Champions in Florida on May 22nd and 23rd.
Sanctioned by USA Track & Field, the meet will welcome athletes ages 6–18 across youth, middle school, and high school divisions, including freshman-only events. Designed to showcase emerging talent from across the Southeast, the competition offers athletes of all levels the opportunity to compete on a premier stage with no qualifying standards required.
The high school divisions will feature elite New Balance Showcase Sections, highlighting top performers from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Alabama. Spanning two full days of competition, the Southeast Meet of Champions promises to be a standout event for athletes, coaches, and families throughout the region.
Jacksonville, FL (Hodges Stadium)
The Southeast Meet of Champions will be held at Jax Track at Hodges Stadium, one of the nation’s premier track and field facilities. Recently resurfaced and IAAF-certified, the venue has hosted major events including NCAA Regionals and the USA Track & Field Junior Olympics, providing an elite stage for athletes to compete at their highest level.
Race to Watch: NB Showcase Men’s 100m
The men’s 100m field features an exceptional lineup of elite sprint talent, including Zamarii Sanders, Braden Pickett, Davion Crumitie, Braylen Bennett, Owen Kaye, and Jacob Thomas. Each athlete owns a personal best under 10.40 seconds, setting the stage for a highly competitive sprint showdown. Who’s your pick to take the win?
