The Florida Relays once again delivered elite competition, and the Bullis School 4x400m relay team made one of the biggest statements of the meet.
Fresh off their national title at the New Balance Nationals Indoor, where they ran a blazing 3:09.62, Bullis carried that momentum straight into the outdoor season. In the prelims, the squad of Cameron Homer, Quincy Wilson, Gideon Newton, and Zayden Saxton showed their depth and composure, clocking 3:09.88 to comfortably secure a spot in the final.
Heading into the championship race, Bullis had already established themselves as the team to beat—and they backed it up. With a slightly adjusted lineup of Zayden Saxton, Cameron Homer, Chase Elliott, and Quincy Wilson, the team delivered once again, winning the 4x400m final in 3:10.22.
The performance marked back-to-back statement efforts to open the outdoor track season, reinforcing Bullis as one of the top high school 4x400m programs in the country. Their ability to consistently run under 3:11 across rounds highlights both their depth and championship-level execution.
With the outdoor season just getting underway, attention now shifts toward the highly anticipated showdown at the Penn Relays. Bullis is expected to face off against Jamaica’s top relay squads, setting the stage for one of the most exciting international matchups of the year.
“I thought the team did a fantastic job with this being our first meet outdoors. Both the boys and girls teams are locked and loaded. Penns should be a fun show!” – Coach Joe Lee

If their early-season performances are any indication, Bullis isn’t just chasing wins—they’re setting the standard.
