In an incredible showdown, two 14-year-olds went head-to-head in the Olympic Development section — 8th grader Camryn Dailey and freshman Melanie Doggett — pushing each other to elite-level times well beyond their years.

Camryn Dailey began the 2026 outdoor season with a 7th-grade personal best of 22.90 and recorded an indoor best of 23.30 at the Eye of the Tiger Invitational on February 15th. She improved her 60m personal best to 7.27 at the Nike Indoor Nationals in March.

Freshman Melanie Doggett had a strong 2026 indoor season, posting season-best times of 7.20 in the 60m, 23.05 in the 200m, and 37.08 in the 300m. She entered the Women’s Olympic Development 200m at the Pepsi Florida Relays with a prior outdoor personal best of 22.94.

Camryn Dailey delivered a historic performance at the Pepsi Florida Relays, setting the Age 14 World Record in the 200m with a blazing 22.73 (-1.1).

Melanie Doggett finished second in 22.80 (No. 2 all-time). Even more impressive, the only woman to run faster on the day was Olympic champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo, who clocked 22.44 in Heat 1.

Both athletes are Nike Elite signees and represent the future of track & field. Stay updated on their seasons via Instagram:
