Noles Defend Home Course Advantage

Lucas Bouquot led the Noles to their second team win in the 8k, setting a career best time of 24:43.0. Patrick Donnelly followed with a lifetime best of 24.44.9. Wynne Thomas was the third Nole to cross the line with a personal best time of 24:48.3, followed by Tanner Simonds at 24:55.5, and Michael Toppi as the FSU fifth scorer with a career time of 25:04.1.

Women’s LSU Team Completes Three-Peat

LSU women’s cross-country team won the Florida State Invitational for the third consecutive year, led by senior Lorena Rangel Batres in the individual-5k, marking her second consecutive win in Tallahassee.. The team scored 17 points, going 1-2-3-5-6, and completing the race in a dominant manner.

LSU Freshman Emedy Ruto Wins Individual Title

On the men’s side, LSU freshman Emedy Ruto continues to lead the way as he took the individual win with a time of 24:31.5 in the 8k. Ruto’s time helped push the team to a second-place finish behind No. 27 Florida State.
