Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian Hosted A Women’s Only Track Meet

Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit, announced the 776 Invitational, a women’s track meet, in the spring. The meet was later renamed Athlos. The Greek word “Athlos” means “contest or trial” in relation to athletic feats. Ohanian’s historic prize structure was enhanced by a Grammy-winning concert by Megan Thee Stallion, and each athlete introduced with their own walk-out song by DJ Derrick “D’Nice” Jones.
