2024 Holloway Park Collegiate XC Opener

Florida Southern College’s men’s cross country team won the Holloway Collegiate XC Opener on its home course.

Adem Bouldjadj received individual medalist honors with a time of 18:18 on the 6k course.

Junior Christian Giller finished second in the 6k, just seven seconds behind first-place finisher Adem Bouldjadj from Eastern Florida.

However, Florida Southern finished in first place with 43 points, while Embry-Riddle and Tampa tied for second place with 46 points, setting a tough standard for the Sunshine State Conference this season.

Nova Southeastern’s Leena Saidi, finished in 15:15.7 to secure the first place finish.

Senior Emma Mussante, a Middleburg native, finished second overall in the 4.2K race (15:16.5), just under a second behind Nova Southeastern’s Leena Saidi, after battling for the lead throughout the race.

Nova Southeastern claimed the team title with 45 points, while the Mocs secured 47 points.
