Zaid Al Awamleh NOT Selected For Jordanian Olympic Team

The Jordanian Athletics Federation and the Jordanian Olympic Committee are corrupt and have nominated an athlete to represent Jordan in the Paris 2024 Olympics in September 2023! This is way before the outdoor season started. They have refused to nominate anyone with higher points (Zaid) to guarantee him the spot. Based on the IOC rules (see at the bottom of the article) they must pick the highest ranking athlete.

Zaid currently has 1056 points while Moath Al Khawaldeh (the nominated athlete) has 971 points.

Moreover Zaid has tried to resolve this internally with them for months before the deadline but they have failed to reply to any official email, mail or post. This shows that there is no valid reason as Zaid asked them to justify his nomination. Zaid Al Awamleh wants to expose what’s happening with these corrupt entities as they have been getting away with things like this with other athletes in the past but no one has had the reach to expose them.

Zaid broke the Jordanian 100 meter record, which had stood for 17 years, with a new time of 10.43, surpassing the previous record of 10.48.

Zaid Al Awamleh deserves a chance to represent his country at the world stage, and anyone who shares this article can help secure his spot for the Paris Olympic Games.
